Help Beauty From The Earth with their 2nd Annual Hygene Drive

There are many people here in the USA that do not have the resources or money to purchase necessities such as hygiene products.

This Christmas Beauty From the Earth will be sending Hygiene Kits out to the needy. These kits will be handed out to many men, women, and children who are not as fortunate as many of us.

Last year we were only going to send them to homeless but we found that there are many people out there that can not afford the items that are not homeless. These may include mentally handicap persons or the victims of domestic violence.

Our goal is to send at lease 200 kits out. The photo above show you how much we have had donated to the cause so far. We are still in need of many more items.

We would like to invite you to participate in this event.

We need the following items-

Shampoo
Conditioner
Hand lotion
Bars of soap
Dental floss
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Tampons
Sanitary napkins
Diapers

In addition of these items we will also we collecting color books and crayons for children.

If you would like to donate please mail your items to -

Beauty From The Earth
PO Box 315
Syracuse, Kansas 67878

Every person who sends items for the cause will get 20% off their next order and will be entered to win a 100.00 gift certificate.

My 1st Blog

Here is my 1st blog, never really done this before so please bare with me hopefully i will get the hang of it and it will be more interesting as i go! so lets see what can I say, well my interests is makeup, art and family so this one will be about makeup (products, reviews and favorite makeup companies) when I get the hang of it I might create other blog pages about my other interests!
ok so here is what I will like to talk about makeup, I don't have a big makeup collection yet a few MAC (very few), Sephora, Sheer Cover, and a good amount of Coastal Scents and Bareminerals, and some products I bought from ebay that aren't really name brand I think it's a pretty good start.
For great products at very low prices I recommend http://www.coastalscents.com/ if you love makeup but your on a budget like I am it's perfect. I love MAC products the colors are great, love the pigmments and shadesticks I don't have alot of them cause they are a little too pricey for me right now I go on the MAC site (http://www.maccosmetics.com/) drooling over all the great products wishing I could buy it all but sadly I can't but if you can go crazy! My 1st name brand makeup that I ever bought was Bareminerals (http://www.bareminerals.com/ or www.Sephora.com/BareEscentuals) I was so excited when I got my 1st package about 2 years ago I was so happy with the results I was getting many compliments no one knew I had makeup until i told them I would see that the makeup worked great when I would see close up pictures of myself and I actully looked great my skin looked like my 4 year old son's and not like a vampire, zombie, with pimples with no makeup, but sadly it did not last after a year and a half my skin changed on me I started breaking out like crazy and my skin got really dry it was so bad that my bareminerals makeup wasn't looking good anymore even after using the barevitamins, different lotions nothing helped not even exfoliating my skin it felt smooth but when I applied the makeup it looked horrible it looked cracked around my mouth, nose and between my eyes so I would have to wash it all off put the mineral veil on (so I don't look all shiny) and stay with no coverage I wasn't very happy but I still used the eyeshadows, and liners that still worked great for me so all isn't lost, next makeup was Sheer Cover I saw the infermercial on TV many times and bought it sad to say it was a waste of money the mineral makeup didn't cover at all you have to use alot to get coverage and then when I looked closely in the mirror when I thought I was done I saw the flaws it looked really powery, and caked on again I had to take i all off and stay with no coverage the and the brushed=s that comes with the kit isn't very good either I use the face brush to apply blush when I want a hint of color since it doesn't hold too much product. the only things I like about the Sheer Cover products are the moisturizer, face cleaner, mist and toner. the best product I bought is my Coastal Scents they are very cheap but the products are great I bought the makeup case or (train Case) it holds all my makeup (even the ones I hardly use cause of my skin problems) I bought 23 eye shadows love all the colors great color pay offs about 6 brushes they are great it's like have high quality brushes for less then $5, 2 sets of lip gloss I love them cause they don't have a very high color pay off which I actually like but just enough to give some color to my lips and they also blend great with my other lipsticks which is great cause I love mixing colors while doing makeup as well as my other favorite hobbie painting. Well that's my 1st blog and all I can think of writing at this moment.

until next time have a great day!! hope to see some comments, and requests from you soon and hope to be on here again soon! xoxo
